Para celebrar o dia 23 de março, data de aniversário de nascimento do escritor Horácio Dídimo, o qual foi  instituído como Dia Estadual da Literatura Infantil no Ceará, o Instituto Horácio Dídimo lançou duas coletâneas infantis: “Os Novos Poeminhas do Passarinho Carrancudo” e “As Novas Historinhas do Mestre Jabuti”. A primeira, com 83 poeminhas e a segunda com 61 historinhas, ambas com inspiração nos livros infantis “O Passarinho Carrancudo” e “As Historinhas do Mestre Jabuti”, respectivamente, de autoria do escritor e poeta Horácio Dídimo. 

As coletâneas têm a organização e a coordenação editorial de Luciano Dídimo, a colaboração dos professores e escritores Ana Néo, André Araújo e Léo Rocha, os prefácios de Elvira Drummond e Rosa Morena, respectivamente.  A coordenação gráfica e design é de Daniel Dias e a diagramação de Jozias Rodrigues. Conta com  a participação de 150 textos de aproximadamente 100 autores e 150 ilustrações de 50 artistas visuais de todo o País,  resultado de seleção através de edital público.
